Are you a TikTok fan? Do you make your own videos? Maybe you haven’t yet, but you’ve thought about trying. Or maybe you just watch videos, but you help promote certain messages by liking and sharing them.
We want to make #StartbyBelieving go viral for the 7th annual Start by Believing Day, and we need your help! We are hosting a social media video challenge – whether you use TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube. We will post many of your videos on our social media accounts, and then recognize the top three in a series of spotlights.
Want to Submit a Video?
Here are a few tips to consider:
Consider your audience. Are you connecting with professionals, or community members? Trying to reach certain populations? This should guide video creation.
Keep it short. In most cases, a 30-second video is most effective. Got more to say? Consider making a series of videos!
Create a longer video for Facebook, if you want to engage professionals and community members in a multidisciplinary format.
Use hashtags to connect with others: #StartbyBelieving, #nurselife, #advocate, #lawenforcement.
Increase your reach by making videos with closed captions, in American Sign Language, Spanish, or other languages.
