Jacqueline Callari Robinson has been a nurse for more than 30 years, and a forensic nurse examiner for 23 years. Ms. Robinson served as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Educator and Clinician at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, New York. In this rural area, she provided leadership to advance a forensic program, ensuring that Nurse Practitioners and nurses were sufficiently trained to conduct pediatric and adult/adolescent forensic exams. Before that, Ms. Robinson served as the Director of Sexual Assault Prevention, the Statewide Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Coordinator, and a consutant in the state of Wisconsin for more than 10 years.
In conjunction with the Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault and the Wisconsin Department of Justice, she created a statewide training program for Adult/Adolescent and Pediatric SANEs. This program met the educational guidelines of the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) for nurses throughout the state of Wisconsin and accross the country.
